Conference Program
The Scientific Committee are delighted to announce the Trauma 2024 Program is now available.
The conference has a new theme and scientific program that will inspire and engage trauma professionals across our two nations and further afield. We will be discussing ways we can improve all parts of the patient journey by looking at new techniques and methods across all craft groups; trauma service models and trauma systems.
With an holistic approach we will consider medical, nursing and allied components of care; the transitions between services and how all these elements interact to benefit patients, their families and the community as a whole. Our membership is broad and there will be something for everyone!
We will cover:
- Trauma Systems: system strategies within trauma to improve trauma care
- What does an ideal trauma service look like … is there a simple answer?
- Teams and Initiatives Improving Trauma Patient Outcomes
- The Trauma Patient Journey
- Prehospital Trauma Care
- Trauma Research, Data and Injury Prevention
- Critical Care
- Nursing and Allied Health Trauma Care
- Surgical Trauma Care
- Mental Health and Wellbeing for Healthcare Professionals and Patients
- Geriatric Trauma Care
- Rural and Remote Trauma Care
Kindly note that the program is not final and subject to change at any time.
